Dream State 1 - porcelain shark

spi 2010
©bexflo osotc
we were swimming in the water. we came upon this ride. there were water slides
and i wanted to get on so we tried. the guy said something about it not working,
so we went into the water again.
there were all kinds of tourist shit going on.
and all of a sudden we see a shark. and we are trying to swim from it. at one point it
was coming right for me.
i saw a fence by the outline of the water,
so i swim to it and i climb the fence and slipped and fell back in.
once in the water he looked like he was going to come back for me,
but all at once it bit cindy, and her leg was bleeding but not dramatically, it was subtle.
she yelled, "The skark bit me!!!"
i grabbed her and we swam out of the water. we finally found a place to wrap it up.
she was crying.
and we were laying in some room off somewhere, not sure of location.
there was a window at the very top left-side of the wall...and im curious about going up there.
i climbed up there. dont remember what i saw.
we are at some kind of door, we opened it.
once looking inside, it is very strange with grey cementing and all types of movement.
its defying gravity. it lets you test it by having  a handle so you can hold onto.
i was very scared and did not want to go into the door. but cindy ran off with no problem. i
asked her not to, but she didnt listen. i waited for her to come out, but she never did.
i was at a thrift store. i was looking at hats, shirts, sweaters...i went into another
location and saw some belts, but my aunt ninfa happen to be standing by them,
and i didn't want to enter the area and have her see me. then i saw some porcelain earring.
it was an asian person the top of the head being the stud, and the bottom part the back holding.
I stole them because one was rumored to be worth 7 thousand. But then i placed them back.
along came a girl and grabbed them and stuffed 'em down front her pants. i asked her to steal them all,
as if she was about to share in exchange for me seeing her do it without reporting.
right after the act she walks out the store. i continue shopping. and i remember to look for a jacket
because winter is coming soon. i then head to look for a jacket but all of a sudden,
i cant remember where anything is, and im so confused. then the girl comes back and says no one chased me,
so i guess we got away with it. and then she leaves.

Voici

in a land flowing of milk and honey…
you loved books,
together we searched for this quote
we searched thru your bibles
and amidst books of royalty,
you always said you’d rather read a book then watch t.v.
if you had to then you’d watch book t.v.
in your book of phonetics,
that you said most were probably nonexistent now-a-days
you taught me how to speak French
your tongue touching the roof of your mouth,
the style of rolling r’s,
the most influential man I ever met, a chef at Nino’s
he was on the market floor when you walked into the store that day
you mentioned you were a French teacher and he so kindly with the best intentions for me
asked if you had any students and before you could answer he called me to the floor to meet you
we began our friendship,
you were such a meaningful woman H.M.

Rio Grande Valley's Raw Talent: American Idol Auditions

I have come across some auditions online of people from the RGV that auditioned for American Idol. American Idol held first time ever online auditions for  Season 10. call backs are nov 2-4 Auditions are currently now closed. Here's a list of those valley residents giving it their all for the title. Please leave feedback/ratings. I will keep track of these individuals, and see who makes it. Enjoy!

David Garcia, 25 - Mission: "I feel I could be the next American Idol because I have been singing since I was very small, singing is my life. I have so much respect and love for music, it would be an honor for me to show the world what I can do."

Daniel Andres Garza, 24 - Mission: "I am the next American Idol because singing if the first and last thing I think about everyday. I've been told that I have so much raw talent but haven't been given the chance to hone in on my skills. An Idol should be fearless, confident, and have one thing that defines you (other than singing) and for me that's my heritage. It's about time that a Latino won, and given then chance, I know I can be the first!"
